Andy saw "Cream" first in 2005, but has been captivated by their music since 1968, when he heard them on the radio. He stopped collecting Beatles and Rolling Stones. Since then he put together one of the world´s biggest collections on Eric Clapton.

Andy started working with bands as a roadie. He formed his own band "Looking Back" in 1989. In 1995 he joined one of the oldest Swiss bands "Ertlif". He also found time for jams with Austrian musicians like Peter Garstenauer or Sir Oliver Mally, when they were touring in Switzerland.

Andy met Eric Clapton in 1985 for the first time in a hotel in Lausanne after his concert. They met several times between 1985 and 1992. A big dream became true on 10th July 1989 when Andy got autographed the first of his guitars by Mister Clapton. The second one was autographed in Basel on 5th July 1992.
